I provide short-term, paid decision and situation reviews for people dealing with stalled, complex, or high-stakes choices. This is not coaching, execution, or long-term consulting.

It is a bounded review intended to clarify what is actually happening before more time, money, or reputation is committed.

What this work is

This engagement is a focused review of a specific situation that feels unclear, stuck, or heavier than it should.

It typically involves:

  • reviewing context, documents, and constraints
  • examining assumptions and trade-offs
  • identifying risks, blind spots, and false options
  • clarifying what actions (or non-actions) are being avoided

The output is a written assessment intended to support clearer decision-making.

The work is analytical and interpretive.
I do not execute plans or manage outcomes.

The review is conducted privately and professionally, with the aim of examining the situation rather than judging the people involved.

What this work is NOT

  • I do not provide motivation or reassurance
  • I do not guarantee results
  • I do not take ownership of execution
  • I do not stay involved by default
  • I do not work on open-ended or outcome-based arrangements

If you are looking for implementation, growth acceleration, or certainty, this will not be a fit.

Many people arrive not because they lack options, but because they no longer want to carry the burden of the decision alone.

The work exists to examine a situation carefully enough that whatever follows can be owned without continual explanation or second-guessing later.

Because each review requires focused attention, I only take on a small number of engagements at a time.

When this is useful

This type of review is most useful when:

  • a decision keeps getting postponed
  • effort is high but traction is inconsistent
  • multiple options exist and none feel right
  • consequences of choosing incorrectly are meaningful
  • advice from others has increased confusion rather than reduced it

It is less useful for early experimentation or situations where stakes are low.

The kinds of situations this often applies to include:

  • decisions that keep getting postponed despite ongoing effort
  • major professional or business choices with reputational or financial consequences
  • situations involving conflicting advice or too many options
  • commitments that feel heavier than they should
  • transitions where the cost of choosing incorrectly is hard to reverse

These are examples, not a complete list.
The common thread is uncertainty combined with real consequence.

How it works

  • Fixed scope
  • Fixed duration
  • Paid engagement
  • One or two conversations at most
  • Written assessment delivered at the end

There is no obligation beyond the review itself.

People typically leave with a clearer understanding of what is actually at stake, what trade-offs are unavoidable, and which paths are no longer worth pursuing.

The work often removes the need to perform certainty around a decision.

Once the real constraints and trade-offs are made explicit, many people find they no longer need to defend positions they aren’t fully convinced by.

This is intended for situations where the cost of delay or error is meaningful.

If you’re unsure whether this applies to your situation, you can briefly describe it by email.

This work draws on years of experience reviewing complex professional and business situations where the cost of error was life-changing.

This is not a low-cost or exploratory service. It is intended for situations where careful judgment is worth paying for.
